World's Largest Iceberg
In this image provided by the European Space Agency, the world's biggest iceberg, left center, is seen in this April 15, 2005 satellite photo. It has hit the end of an Antarctic ice tongue, snapping off a block about 3 miles (5 kilometers) square. The giant 100 mile (160 kilometer) iceberg, known as B15A, had run into the tip of the 40 mile (70 kilometer) Drygalski Ice Tongue which happened near McMurdo station on the North Antarctic coast.
